This project is a joint effort of three renown Western European universities and three agricultural universities in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia with focus on the development of environmental study programmes in the South Caucasus Region.

In 2003, the project consortium was awarded with a grant by the European Commission for implementing a two-year project in the frames of the EU Tempus program.
